How to Market MSSC to Students at your Campus
Are you a new MSSC Assessment Center and want to spark the interest of students to enroll in MSSC courses? Below is a checklist to make sure that you are making the most of the resources that you may already have on campus to promote the value of the MSSC courses & credential to students on campus.
- MSSC in course offerings pamphlet: When planning out the next school year make sure you highlight MSSC in terms of who we are as an organization along with our logo. This may spark a bit of familiarity to some students and can give them a better insight to how the credential will benefit their career pathway.
- Social media: What better way to get to students than through social media! Statistics show that as of January 2014, 74% of online adults use social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. (Source: Pew Research-Internet Proj.) Utilizing the college’s page to post about opportunities for starting a career pathway by receiving an MSSC certificate may spark interest. Also, instructors can create a Twitter or Facebook account for individual classes where you can post pictures or tweet about what is going on in the classroom and what to expect for the upcoming school year.
- Flyers: I am sure you have noticed the flyer boards or poles that are located across any campus overflowing with flyers about local events, clubs, and also course offerings. When creating a course flyer make sure to reference MSSC and the benefits of enrolling in the course/obtaining the certification as well, contact MSSC to utilize our logos!
