Military Update- Certified Production Technician (CPT) Army Career Skills Program (CSP)

New this year, the Army is working closely with our organization and the National Association of Manufacturers/Manufacturing Institute and area partners to bring the Certified Production Technician (CPT) training program to soldiers who are transitioning from their military service to civilian status.  Individuals in their six-month transition period will have the opportunity to enroll in CPT manufacturing training programs under the Army’s Career Skills Program (CSP).  Both Ft. Knox (Kentucky) and Ft. Riley (Kansas) will offer CPT CSP training sessions, 10 weeks at Ft. Riley and 5 weeks at Ft. Knox, to kickstart careers in advanced manufacturing.  A soldier can be stationed anywhere, but if they are interested in attending one of the CPT CSP training sessions, they should contact their local CSPIA for more information.  For information at Ft. Knox and Ft. Riley, see below:

Ft. Knox, KY:  Contact CSPIA Harriet Taylor at 502-624-8246 or by email harriet.n.taylor.ctr@mail.mil
